RH - 888 USB 3.0 to 3 Port USB 3.0 Hub

Very good performance at reading and writing... i've achieved 85Mb/s and 40Mb/s. This Hub is diferent from the ones I once was going to by on two things... it's a Hub USB-3 WITHOUT external power source (it's right trough the USB port that comes the power) and second: it's the first Hub I see around with Ehernet port (out).

Easy to use? :) well, it's just plug and use!! how hard can that be??

If I recomend? yes, by all means I do recomend (except) for the ones that don't have yet USB-3 port's.

The next big thing for me ONE day in the future, will be (i can say) this same HUB but with USB-Type-C on it... well, type-c is not very very important to me... well it's very very speedy for sure but I don't use that so Big files like, i say, cientists? etc... the reversible thing on type-c is very confortable but once more it is only that important for some one plugin in and un-pluging devices all the time... for some people that just plug once or twice a day, type-c is not that important (remains the speed as the most atractive)... I WANT to make note for the ones that read this wirting speeds i've achieved AND IS VERY important that you understand that this speeds are a fraction of the Hub can do... I just don't have yet the right external's to take all advantage of this, ok???

Got this to use with my 2015 MacBook Pro, currently running MacOS 10.12.3.

Having done quite a lot of research I was a little worried the drivers for this might be a problem, but it worked straight out of the box,. As soon as I plugged it into my Mac and connected ethernet to the adapter, it just worked. No drivers needed to be installed or anything.

In System Preferences > Network it shows up as "USB 10/100/1000 LAN". I tested gigabit ethernet throughput to my NAS (Synology DS116) and got 105 Mb/s read and write, which is exactly what I get from my Apple Thunderbolt Ethernet adapter. It's basically as fast as the NAS can serve data.

USB3 ports appear to work fine also — tested with a 2.5" external hard drive and everything works as expected.

Very pleased overall.

I suppose you could say the materials used are a little cheap next to a MacBook Pro but seriously... look at the great price of this adapter!

I do wish the cable was twice as long, but I've ordered a USB 3 extension cable so I can move this to the back of my desk.

I bought this usb 3.0 hub from gearbest.com and I've just received it.
Very easy to setup, acceptable build quality. I tested and compared with another usb hub with various configurations and I am happy with the transfer rates recorded. Good value for the money.

On the ethernet part, I have little complaint here. I've tested the speed of the network and the download was indeed very fast, but on the upload, the etheret port simply died on me. I've repeated the test and with 2 online testers - speedtest.net by ookla, and my ISP speed testing webpage. On the other hand, I have to say that I've uploaded a 1,4 GB file on wetransfer and had no problem at all.

My 24/7 mini PC had only a 100Mbps ethernet connection (although my router is Gigabit) and my internet speed got buffed up. To get rid of the bottleneck I bought this wonder. I'd recommend anyone in a similar position.

Product is like photos and as described.
This hub could work with xiaomi mi box RJ45 connection and you can use too with external sdd simultaneous.

Wifi has to be turned off to use. Other than that, great product, especially considering the price, the ports are USB 3.0, if not, very near identical speeds. Reached up to 90GB download with the Ethernet port as well. Thanks!

This is a very good network adapter and USB 3.0 hub! It works flawlessly on my Windows 10 laptop and it worked right out of the box. No need to install driver. I can truely recommend this product. I'll probably buy another.

at least 760MB/s of internet speed (depends on the connection and testing server)
