Lower heat output, conventional incandescent lights waste about 90% of their power on heat output.

Not all LED bulbs are dimmable
Possible compatibility problems with existing dimmers when retrofitting. The larger brand name manufacturers do fairly extensive testing, but you might not be so lucky with generic LEDs
Possible compatibility problems with existing low voltage transformers when retrofitting MR16 style globes
High powered LED downlights can be taller than halogen lights, which can be a problem if roof space is limited
May fail prematurely in high temperature conditions
Quality / colour of the light isn't always as good as incandescent or halogen lights, but is getting better. Light quality is measured using the CRI value.

The LEDs are just awesome. They look very good, the remote works perfectly even from a 5 meters distance, a lot of colors, perfect for a gaming setup!

It does not come with an AC adapter, witch you need to power it with, you need to buy one separately.

5 meters good quality led strip !. Bright light for a small room. I cut it and stick it behind my tv and it is very beautiful ! Also it has a remote control .

very good led light strip. simple to operate, color combinations as per remote control (included). the back of the led strip has tape so one can glue it on furniture very easily

the only thing is that it has no 12V power adapter, however this is not a surprise, it's clearly written in the product description at GB.
