Me la aspettavo più grande ma in effetti corrisponde alle dimensioni indicate sul sito (modello grande). La lampada presenta diversa modalità di illuminazione: bianca frontale focalizzata, bianca laterale diffusa, rossa fissa e rossa lampeggiante. Le due illuminazioni bianche sono regolabili su tre livelli di intensità. Quella di partenza è sempre l'intermedia dopodiché coi due tasti + e - si possono selezionare gli altri livelli. La luce bianca è abbastanza intensa. La differenza di illuminazione tra i tre livelli è avvertibile ma non eccessivamente marcata; al livello più basso la luce è ancora discreta, ciò può essere inadatto ad alcune applicazioni. La luce rossa fissa è abbastanza intensa e viene emessa dalla lampada laterale. La luce rossa fissa è uno dei motivi per cui ho scelto questa lampada e ne sono molto soddisfatto. La luce rossa non è regolabile. La modalità rossa lampeggiante è piuttosto rapida quasi tipo "strobo". La plastica è resistente e la lampada è ben assemblata. I magneti sono abbastanza forti da consentire di attaccare la lampada con sicurezza a un supporto di ferro. La maniglia posteriore si posiziona a scatto in diverse posizioni e consente di inclinare la lampada in quella desiderata. Anche senza usare i magneti la lampada è abbastanza ben bilanciata da restare in posizione verticale, appoggiata sulla maniglia se aperta a 90°. La maniglia si può aprire sul fianco, tipo moschettone, per agganciarla ad esempio a un tubo. Il meccanismo di apertura laterale, a molla, si chiude a incastro e quindi difficilmente si può aprire in seguito a una torsione leggera. La lampada ha la sua batteria interna, non direttamente accessibile (forse si può raggiungere smontando la lampada). Non ho verificato la durata della batteria. La lampada mi sembra ben fatta e resistente, ha una dimensione adeguata sia per tenerla in mano, sia come lampada da lavoro e per questo è abbastanza funzionale grazie agli appositi supporti. Tutte le luci sono sufficientemente intense. La tonalità della luce bianca mi pare intermedia non eccessivamente fredda a occhio direi sui 4000K.
