    Using it in Europe
    Works like a charm. Installed it myself. The packaging even has a handle ;-) I have a really old wooden door, so I had to widen a bit the frame for the lock body. It was my first woodwork but I managed (with a bit of help of the customer help within the Xiaomi App). After that, installed it following the instruction video on Gearbest and it was a child's play. It connected fluently to the Apple Homekit App and the Xiaomi Home App. Since then I really enjoy this product. No problems anymore with the kids coming home forgetting their key, since they all have their fingerprints registered. The quality of the product and the safety features are very well thought off. Now I am looking for a compatible Bluetooth hub to explore even further all the possibilities...

    It’s great and very strong very safety
    Great prices and fast, fast shipping. I am excited to have this new lock installed on my door. The installation is not complicated. You just need to follow the user menu step by step. I didn’t follow the menu on my first attempt and I had never changed a lock before. In the end I had to reverse and re-do some steps to correct a mistake. Now I have an awesome looking lock on my door. And it went straight to work immediately after I put in the batteries. I will use it for a few more days to try out the various functions and come back with my experience review again.

    Love it
    I have been thinking of buying a smart lock. I really like the looks of this lock and I have used it for a week now. It has all the functions that I need. if I walk into the other room it locks behind me so no one can enter unless they have the code or fingerprint. You can set up a time to lock automatically. I think it is safe if you forgets at night and with little kids at home. It can use fingerprint to open the lock. And it can generate a permanent code(for family) and temporary code. Great product!!

    love this lock
    This lock is amazing. The finger prints, codes, smart cards, and bluetooth unlock work seamlessly. Other competitors you find yourself having to lick your finger on cold days, or breathing on the lock itself to get it to recognize your finger print. None of those problems as of yet, as well as multiple options to get in should you ever run into those issues. Make sure you have enough batteries because they aren't included and you'll need them.

    This lock is very good and user friendly. It has three functions of password, fingerprint and key, and the quality is very good! I often forget to take the keys out. I was locked on the door. FAQ for Aqara N100

  • Can not update firmware / Firmware updates to 40% or 69% and then gets stuck.

    1. Check whether the Bluetooth connection of the mobile phone is normal;
    2. Check whether the Mijia app software is the latest version;
    3. Check whether the mobile phone system is the latest version;
    4. Door lock firmware version number (check whether the firmware version numbers of the front panel and the rear panel are consistent);
    5. Check Whether the update is normal when you replace your mobile phone;
    6. Check whether the battery is sufficient;

  • Use your iphone to scan the HomeKit code, and then the family software prompts "No available device, please stay closer to the device and try again" .

    1. Check whether the door lock powers on for more than 2 hours;
    2. Check whether the door lock is bound to HomeKit;
    3. Check whether the iphone's Bluetooth is on;

  • Ios family software can share door lock device with others.

    The door lock in the home app can be shared with other home app users, and the shared person has the HomeKit unlock authorization;
  • Bluetooth hub is online but remote door lock is offline.

    1.   Check the Bluetooth hub type and firmware version;
    2.   Check whether the mobile phone is directly connected with the door lock normally.
    3.   Check that the linkage between the door lock and the Bluetooth hub has been created and the signal strength is normal;

  • Linkage can not be created between Bluetooth hub and door lock.

    1.  Check whether the Bluetooth hub firmware is the latest version;
    2.  Check that the door lock and the Bluetooth hub are under the same Xiaomi account;
    3.  Check that the Bluetooth mesh is enabled;
    4.  Check that the Bluetooth hub is online;

  • Bluetooth hub is offline, but the set automation can be executed.

    Provide screenshots of all devices on the Mijia homepage.
  • Bluetooth is online, but the created automation is not executed.

    Check whether there are devices paired with the Mi Control Hub, and provide automation screenshots and Xiaomi account.
  • After door lock gets offline, the Bluetooth hub is always online.

    After the door lock gets offline, the gateway will get offline 40 minutes later, and the door lock will power on again within 40 minutes after the door lock gets offline. The door lock can report the time normally and keep online all the time.
  • How many sub-devices can the Bluetooth hub load?

    Ordinary Bluetooth hub can load 50 sub-devices, and the Bluetooth hub with Mesh function can load 100 sub-devices.
  • After door lock gets offline and powers on again, it still displays offline status in the Bluetooth hub page.

    After the door lock gets offline (it displays offline status under the Bluetooth hub 40 mins after it powers off ), it powers on again, and needs to take 20 minutes to connect to the hub. Then, it can get online.
  • Failed to add NFC.

    1.  Check whether the NFC device is a supported device type;
    2.  Check whether the issuance process of the NFC virtual card is correct;
    3.  Check whether the default NFC card is not set;
    4.  Check whether the added device is placed at the center of the number 8 and do not move the device during the adding process;

  • The test is normal during installation. In the using process, it is found that the lock body motor does not move after the verification is successful, and the door cannot be opened.

    1. Use the power bank and Type-C cable to temporarily supply power to the door lock (this will restart the door lock) to check whether the door can be verified normally to be opened;
    2. Check whether the above problem leads customers to update the latest firmware to solve the problem;
    3. Check whether the male and female connector pins of the communication cable are normal (whether the pins are misaligned; whether the pin holes are blocked or whether oxides are blocking the communication)
    4. Check whether the communication cable and the junction of the communication cable terminal and the cable are broken or cracked;

  • The door lock verification is sometimes normal and sometimes abnormal in the testing process before installation.

    1. Gently move the communication cable between the panels and observe whether there is something different;
    2. Observe whether the terminal pins of the two communication cables between the panels are normal;
  • After the door lock powers on, verify the fingerprint, and the indicator light is off; touch the panel, and number keys of the password keyboard can be used normally.

    1. If you have added a door lock to the Mijia app, enter the door lock settings and find the fingerprint version number in "Device Information". If all the fingerprint version numbers are 0, the pairing between the fingerprint sensor and the front panel is abnormal;
    2. Check whether there is any abnormality in the pins and pin holes of the communication cable;

  • After it powers on, the motor is reset and the square shaft is inserted, the door can be opened outdoors directly without verification.

    1. Check whether there is no problem with the installation position of the square shaft, and the length of the square shaft is 15-20mm extended from the door facade;
    2. Check whether the panel is installed vertically without misalignment and the lock body is installed without misalignment ;
    3. After the successful verification, check whether the lock body motor will operate once, and then the lock body motor will automatically reset after retracting the latch bolt or 5 seconds later;

  • After the installation is completed, the app interface always displays a door open alarm, and the door lock intermittently sound door open alarm.

    1. Open the door, press the assistant bolt, press the latch bolt into the lock body and release, and observe whether the door lock status in Mijia app is lifted to unlock;
    2. Check communication cable terminals between the lock body and the rear panel to see whether the pins are misaligned;

  • After the installation is completed, it is difficult or impossible to fully extend/retract the dead bolt when opening the door.

    1.  Check whether there is a sky-ground hook;
    2.  Check whether there is enough space to open the sky-ground hook at the position where the lock body is installed.
    3.  Check whether the communication cable is hooked during the sky-ground hook is opened;
    4.  Check whether the sky-ground hook is cut, and whether to remove any burrs after cutting;

  • That the latch bolt extends/extracts is found abnormal in the test before installation.

    1. Observe whether there is friction between the latch bolt hole of the strike and the latch bolt;
    2. Check whether the collision bolt (small latch bolt) on the latch bolt is normally stuck in the strike;
  • 1. The panel password area cannot be woken up, the fingerprint input does not respond, the doorbell does not response with touch, and the indicator light is off;<br /> 2. There is no sound when the panel keys are touched, and there is no sound when the fingerprint is verified. The door lock sound in the app has been confirmed to be maximized;

    1. Check whether the male & female pin holes of the front & rear panel are misaligned or blocked by foreign objects.
    2. Check whether the power is on and you are using the dry batteries included in the package;
  • The verification can be successful after multiple-time trials. After successful verification, the door can be opened normally, and the software prompts the multiple-time unlock errors.

    Guide the user to maintain the posture of opening the door, keep the posture of grasping the handle when entering the fingerprint, just fine-tune the angle of the finger fingerprint, so that the fingerprint can be entered effectively.
  • The alarm will be sounded after the installation is completed and the door is not closed. The software displays the door is not closed.

    Open the door, and press the assistant bolt. Press the latch bolt into the lock body once, and then it naturally extends. Check the door lock status on the software.
  • After the installation is successful, the alarm keeps sounding and the software prompts the door is being damaged.

    Tighten the interlock screws above the door lock, press the latch bolt to retract, and release it to reset the alarm.
  • After the installation is completed, the door cannot be closed, and it can be pushed to open easily / the dead bolt cannot fully extend when the handle is lifted.

    Check whether the door buckle is aligned with the holes of the lock body and the latch bolt.
  • There is no need to verify the password and the door can be opened from outdoors directly. Check whether the handle is reversed.

    Check whether the lock is normal before reverse.
  • The password needs to be verified successfully twice before it can be opened outdoors.

    Check whether the square shaft and the panel are installed as required.
  • 1. There is no hole in the lock body for fixing the lock cylinder;<br /> 2. There is no hole in the lock body for fixing the screws;<br /> 3. Be short of accessories;

    Provide related unboxing videos / pictures, record SN, and reissue related accessories.
  • No voice broadcast or intermittent voice broadcast.

    After the door lock is switched to the mute mode and then adjusted to the maximum volume, the voice broadcast problem still occurs. Replace the front panel (doorbell speaker is on the rear panel).
  • The lock cylinder is installed properly and the door cannot be opened with the key.

    Replace lock cylinder & key.
  • After unboxing the new lock, single click the set button, and the door lock broadcasts "The door lock is bound, and please verify the administrator's fingerprint or password".

    The door lock boardcasts "Verify administrator fingerprint or password", record the front & rear panel SN, and replace the entire lock.
  • N100 supports remote unlock.

    The devices in the home app need a home hub to be used remotely;
  • The Smart Door Lock can unlock with Siri.

    Siri voice unlock is implemented by Apple's security mechanism. If you think that voice unlock is not safe, you can choose not to add HomeKit and use it in Mijia app.
