Original AUGVAPE Merlin Mini RDA Cap Kit

I had the the Merlin mini for a little time however I stopped vaping it due to the need to chain vape, and it just couldn't keep up with my style of vaping, despite producing great flavors. I decided to hang it up. Then I saw this little thing, a conversion kit and ordered it. I've been using it most of the day, and now have a tank that I shelved converted into something I'm actually chain vaping and re-dripping. The conversion kit produces strong, intense flavours which I'd recommend if you already own a merlin. If you don't I'd recommend something more along the lines of a Govad, etc as you won't be buying the merlin mini, then buying this together.

Suggestion

The flavours are intense however it doesn't truly get out certain subtle tastes that my other RDA's seem to produce. I would definitely recommend a pure RDA still over a conversion kit, however it did improve upon the original merlin. The other downside is the amount of liquid you can drip due to not being much of a juice well. Within, the way it's bottom airflow means that you will not be able to drip down from the top as you would flood it more than likely, and have juice dripping out of the airflow slots at the bottom.

It's a great accessory for the Merlin RTA, I wasn't a big fan of the drip tip but any 810 if it's fine. It's really sturdy, a good chunk of stainless steel the threads are also really smooth and switching between RTA mode and RDA mode is a breeze. However after using it for a while I found myself staying in RTA mode and just using other rda's when I wanted a drip

Fits fine, looks cool, expands drip tip options substantially. Really good for a chimney coil and of course capable of fitting whatever build you're used to on the Merlin Mini.

Suggestion

No juice well on the merlin mini as it was never intended for dripping. If you do use it as a dripper with standard coils you literally have to drip after every 2/3 hits to maintain good flavour, every 4 hits to prevent a dry hit. With a chimney coil squeezed in there however it really shines flavour wise but ofcourse this style is very wasteful as you don't vaporise the juice in the outer ~80% of cotton.

The rda top cap has really build quality, it give fantastic flavour plus you get the added bonus of two tanks in one, looks great. I would recommend this.

the rta deck doest really have a juice well so you have to drip after every 4-5 pulls
